Job fair number 3!

They say "third times the charm" and "good things come in 3s." Our third job fair was in Lewisham College.

On Thursday 5th August 2021, some of the Rafah team represented the company at Lewisham College. By 10:00am the banner was in place and we were waiting for new people to recruit. The event ran until 4:00pm. It was a busy atmosphere as the college have managed to invite various businesses for this event. Industries included construction, hospitality, healthcare and digital media. The college was encouraging the companies to offer an interview or hire young people on the day.

In terms of results, Rafah recruitment ended up gaining more interest from other businesses willing to work with us. Business to Business (B2B) opportunities are also valuable. Who knows? This can lead to bigger opportunities for the future.
